Shrewsbury House is an academically rigorous school. The boys, from 7 -13, are able and will benefit from being stretched intellectually and nurtured pastorally.

  • Vacancy for Teacher of Sport and Computing - The Rowans School

    The Rowans School is a popular and successful co-educational pre-prep for children between the ages of 3 and 7, situated in Wimbledon.

    The Rowans Pre-Preparatory School, which joined Shrewsbury House School Trust on 1 August 2017,  is  seeking to appoint an experienced Teacher of Sport and Computing to start in January 2018.

    Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep School (formerly known as Shrewsbury Lodge School) in Esher, Surrey is an independent day school for boys and girls aged from three to seven years. It was founded in 1912 and is part of the Shrewsbury House School Trust and is administered by a Board of Governors.   It is a happy School with a welcoming environment.

    We are seeking  to find a capable and friendly Teaching Assistant to come and join the team at Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep School in 2017 to assist with our small classes.

    We need an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (KS1)to join a team of dedicated professionals, Level  NVQ3 qualifications are essential.  The successful candidates will work well as part of a team, and have good communication skills. Our thriving independent pre-prep school has a reputation for academic, sporting and musical excellence, and offers a friendly working environment, well-resourced, purpose-built classrooms and the latest ICT facilities.     We are looking to appoint an experienced and resourceful Personal Assistant to the Executive Headmaster of the Trust, who is responsible for three Schools.  The successful candidate will be polished, professional and highly organised with excellent IT skills, assisting in all areas of running the Schools and helping promote them.   A willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the school is essential as is willingness to help organise and oversee a wide range of events throughout the School year.
