Shrewsbury House is an academically rigorous school. The boys, from 7 -13, are able and will benefit from being stretched intellectually and nurtured pastorally.

  • Vacancy for Teacher of Religious Studies and Library Skills (Part time - Maternity cover)

    Required January 2018 - IAPS Day Preparatory School for 320 boys aged 7 - 13

    Average class size 15.  Maximum class size 18. c.43 full time teachers

    Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience

    We are looking to appoint a motivated, flexible, proactive and committed teacher to join our dynamic Religious Studies Department. The successful candidate will be an inspirational practitioner, able to teach 20 Religious Studies lessons from years 3 to 6, and deliver 4 library and research lessons to year 3.   The lessons are to be delivered over 5 days per week and the role is for a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

    Full Year / Full Time (52 weeks / 40 hours pw) – Shift pattern

    Salary from £18,000p.a. (dependent on qualifications & experience).

    The Trust requires a flexible, self-motivated and suitably experienced Mobile Facilities Assistant to work across all Trust sites: Esher, Surbiton, Wimbledon and Chessington.  A valid driving license is therefore essential.  The successful candidate will work well as part of a team, and have good communication skills.

  • Vacancy for Minibus Driver(s)

    Required to start as soon as possible - IAPS Day Prep School for 320 boys aged 7 - 13

    To undertake minibus journeys as required – Part time hours AM and/or PM and during School day (according to your availability) – Term time only.   Hourly pay is £13.07 per hour.

    The school has a vacancy for a part time mini-bus driver to transport the pupils to and from school and/or during the School day.  For more details about the job, including working hours etc. please contact the Fleet Manager, Martin Meacher (mmeacher@shstrust.net), and he will be happy to provide you with more information.

    Minibus Drivers must be able to drive the School’s Minibuses and transport the School’s pupils safely and securely to and from School each day and to comply with all of the School’s policies.  Successful candidates must possess or be willing to undertake a D1 qualification and have a current, clean drivers’ license.
