ISI Inspection Report – May 2013

Skiing is offered as an after-school club.

This popular sport is delivered under expert tuition at Sandown Ski Centre in Esher. Boys from Shrewsbury House School have experienced success in competition in recent years. These competitions include dry-slope, indoor snow and overseas races. Ollie Marriott is Master in Charge of Skiing at SHS.

Skiing is also another sport that we like to offer at Shrewsbury House through our overseas tours programme with our annual ski trip. This usually takes place during the February half term and in recent years we have ventured to Auron in the southern Alps. Our ski trips are always action packed and the boys spend time in ski school, as well as, having the chance to snowboard and ice skate. One of the highlights of the trip is the torchlight descent of the mountain with other children from the French ski school.  On our way home we have spent a day in Nice before returning to the UK. Parents are very welcome to join us on this ever popular trip.
