A group of forty-eight Shrewsbury House School pupils, siblings, parents and staff enjoyed an amazing week of skiing in Folgarida, Italy. With fresh snow blessing the resort in the few days before our arrival, all we needed was some good weather and I am happy to report that our luck continued - the SHS group skied all week under deep blue skies and bright (and warm!) sunshine. The children benefitted from five instructors (ensuring fantastic teacher-pupil ratios) and five hours of lessons each day, leaving the “grown-ups” to enjoy exploring the wonderful Dolomite mountains. With days filled with sun-blessed skiing and evenings filled with pasta and pizza (and a little Karaoke!) everyone enjoyed the friendly, supportive and fun environment of the SHS Ski Trip. We signed the trip off with lunch in (sunny!) Bologna - the heart of Italian cuisine! Thank you to Mr Marriott and Mrs Ross for their support, and to all the SHS children and families who made the trip so enjoyable.
