On Friday 12th May Year 3 visited the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre. This included a tour of the museum and numerous activities. The boys were invited to spend time in the author’s hut which housed his artefacts and where he wrote his famous novels. A ‘Matilda Top Tips’ workshop followed where the boys were taken on an 'imagination journey' to find out how Roald Dahl got his ideas for stories. After this we embarked on the’ Village trail’ taking in many famous landmarks along the way and learning many 'fantabulous' facts about Roald Dahl’s life.
A great day was had by all!
